Beautiful and practical gift idea

Our regular blog contributor Caroline Critchfield from SewCanShe.com came up with a wonderful Mother’s Day gift idea, an in-the-hoop sunglasses case design, and we were thrilled.
It is not only a fabulous and practical gift, but a great way to embroider sustainable by using up your scraps.
All you will need is a few pieces of fabric, some batting, stabilizer, coordinating machine embroidery thread for the needle and bobbin and you are good to go!
Caroline used Hatch Embroidery Digitizer to create her ITH machine embroidery design and a Motif Fill to add a decorative element to her project.

You can download the project by clicking the button below. The download file contains the embroidery designs and the instructions.
In this video Caroline will show you how to change the Motif Fill she used for her design to a different one to customize it to your taste.
Now that you have everything you need, the embroidery designs, the instructions and the knowledge of how to change the Motif Fill in the design, you are ready to start creating your very own sunglasses cases!
Happy Embroidery!
