St Patrick’s Day is fast approaching and I wanted to create a nice new design to celebrate it. When I found the artwork, I thought it would be perfect to show you how you can digitize your own lettering using the fantastic Digitize Blocks tool.
The Digitize Blocks tool is great to digitize column shapes of varying width, setting the stitch angle at each pair of points.

Watch this short video to see how easy it is to use the Digitize Blocks tool.
To digitize perfect clovers or shamrocks I first created a heart object by selecting it from the Standard Shapes in the Digitize toolbox. I then used a couple of awesome tools from the Create Layout toolbox. The Mirror Copy both tool allowed me to layout 4 leaves and I could easily create 3 with the Circle Layout tool.
Watch this short video to see how it’s done.
