The instructions in the tutorial are for the Christmas Ball embroidery design, but we are also giving you a couple of other free designs that you can customize to your own taste.
You will see just how easy it is to digitize your own designs with Hatch Embroidery Digitizer or use one of the free designs and add some lettering or a monogram to it with Hatch Embroidery Personalizer!
Supplies Needed
- Embroidery machine and needles
- Hatch Embroidery Digitizer software
- Felt (2 sheets/pieces per design)
- Heavy cut-away stabilizer
- Assorted embroidery threads
- Ribbon to tie or hang ornaments
- Embroidery hoop to fit design
Software Requirements
The software requirement for this project is Hatch Embroidery Digitizer, the highest level of the software as you will be doing manual digitizing to complete the designs.
Skill Level Required
We have ranked this as intermediate, but the skill level of the digitizing would be appropriate for a beginner digitizer with basic digitizing knowledge.
Features & Techniques Used
Basic digitizing tools, changing colors, adding lettering/monograms, adding a button hole and resequencing the design.
