The Reshape tool is one of the most-used tools in Hatch Embroidery, for changing object shapes, editing stitch angles, and adjusting entry and exit points. The new Reshape Views toolbar lets you selectively show just the control points you need to see, making it much easier to work on complex designs with many objects.

Some warning messages can become distracting once you know what you're doing. The new Warnings settings under User Interface Settings let you switch specific warnings off, and just as easily turn them back on later if you want the extra guidance again.

See your connectors, clearly, before you stitch.
The Show Design options let you toggle the on-screen display of connecting stitches and machine functions like trims and tie-offs, helping you check a design before stitchout. In Hatch 4 the display color now defaults to red for much clearer visibility, and can be changed via the Background and Display Colors dialog.

Display colors for stitches, needle points, object shapes, and grids are all part of your colorway definition. The Background and Display Colors dialog has been updated in Hatch 4 to support the updated function symbols as well as grid, guide, and snap settings, so nothing disappears against your background.
