Hatch Embroidery is a perpetual license - you pay once and own it. There is no ongoing subscription fee. FlexPay is available for Composer and Digitizer levels if you prefer to spread payments over 13 monthly installments of US$99, but that is a payment option, not a subscription. Once your installments are complete, the software is yours with no further payments.
Organizer - manage, resize, recolor, and stitch existing designs. No design creation tools.
Personalizer - everything in Organizer, plus lettering, monogramming, and 66 embroidery fonts. Great for personalizing gifts and apparel.
Composer - everything in Personalizer, plus auto-digitizing, vector file support, and 78 fonts. Turns photos and artwork into embroidery automatically.
Digitizer - everything in Composer, plus full manual digitizing, Advanced Appliqué, Multi Blend, PhotoStitch, and 130 fonts. Complete professional creative control.
You can always upgrade later and keep all your existing designs.

Yes. All designs, machine files, and thread files created in earlier versions of Hatch open and edit in Hatch 4 without any changes - provided they are stored in the default folders. If you have saved items to custom folders, they will remain there and you may need to re-link them within Hatch 4.
Almost certainly yes. Hatch Embroidery supports file formats used by all major machine brands including Brother, Janome, Bernina, Baby Lock, Singer, Husqvarna Viking, Pfaff, Tajima, Barudan, and many others. Hatch 4 also adds direct wireless Wi-Fi transfer to compatible Brother machines (PR680W, PR1055X, PR1060W).
Your upgrade price is personalized based on your current level and version - no two customers pay the same amount. Sign in to your Hatch account and your individual price is calculated and displayed automatically. You don't need to contact support.
Hatch Embroidery 4 is a Windows-only application and requires Windows 11 (64-bit). However, many Mac users successfully run Hatch using Parallels Desktop with Windows for Mac. Note that this is an unsupported configuration. View full system requirements →
